The protection of your personal data in connection with utilization of the services provided by EMCG The European Management Consulting Group GmbH („EMCG“) follows the principles for processing of personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Among other, you will find information about type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data („data“) by EMCG related to the use of the website. Personal data are all data that may relate to you personally as e.g. name, address, email-address and user behavior.

Confidential handling of this data is a matter of course for us. This data privacy declaration is continuously revised and adapted. Current state of this declaration is June 2019.

No personal data will be disclosed to third parties without your express permission. Data shall only be passed on to public bodies, law enforcement authoritiesa and courts where there is a legal requirement. Our employees are also obliged to secrecy and to treat the personal data you provide confidentally.

2. Your rights
Aside from the right of withdrawal of the consent granted to us, you have the following rights, provided the respective legal prerequisites exist: the right of information according to Art. 15 GDPR, of notification according to Art. 16 GDPR, of deletion according to Art. 17 GDPR, of limited processing according to Art. 18 GDPR, of objection according to Art. 21 GDPR and the right of data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR.
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data which is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Sect. 1f GDPR for reasons that result from your particular situation (Art. 21 Sect. 1 GDPR).
Insofar as we process your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Sect. 1f GDPR for direct advertising purposes, you have the right to object to this at any time even without stating reasons (Art. 21 Sect. 2 GDPR).
Furthermore, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your data by EMCG (Article 77 GDPR).

3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website
If you visit our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not provide us with information in another way, we regularly collect the data that are automatically transmitted to our web server by your browser:
- IP-address;
- date and time of the inquiry;
- content of the request (explicit page);
- transmitted amount of data;
- website from which the request originated;
- browser;
- operating system and its interface;
- language and version of the browser software.
According to Art. 6 Sect. 1f GDPR the legal basis for processing these data is our justified interest, which results from the objectives listed in the following. We use this information to
- enable the availibility of the website;
- continue to improve the websites and service offerings technically and to adapt it to the needs of our users;
- perform internal quality controls;
- detect, eliminate and prevent errors, malfunctions and possible misuse;
- generate statistics regarding access channels and the use of the website.
The data are stored for a period of 6 months, after which they are automatically deleted.

4. Email inquiries and contact by telephone
If you contact us (e.g. via email or phone) we will use the data you shared with us (usually your contact data and your inquiry) to react to your inquiry. Your inquiries are saved for a period of 6 months after we have responded to them. If required by commercial or tax law stipulations we save the correspondence for the legally defined periods of time.

We use cookies, web beacons or similar methods if you visit our websites or use our offers. We use session cookies to analyze the user behavior. The cookies are deleted daily.

The contents of this website have been put together with utmost care and are checked and updated regularly. EMCG does not in any way guarantee that the information presented on this website is up to date, correct or complete nor is EMCG responsible for the use that is made of this information.

EMCG is only liable for damage that it has brought about through gross negligence or deliberate intention and cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage, including lost profit, incurred through the use of the information or data provided on this website or on any websites mentioned on this website or which might be accessible from links on this website.

EMCG makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the software provided is free of mistakes, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, etc., but cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages including lost profits.
